Learning Agreement (LA)
- Q: How do I fill out and get my Learning Agreement (LA) approved?
A: First, choose courses from our Erasmus course catalogue (NSA Erasmus Course Catalogue.). You must get the proposed LA approved by your home university before sending it to us for signature. Only after receiving all necessary approvals is your LA considered valid. - Q: How many ECTS credits should I include in my Learning Agreement?

- Q: Is there a Bulgarian language course upon arrival?
A: Yes, participate in the second part of the Bulgarian Language Course, held on-site (5 days) starting from the first day of the semester. This course is free of charge and open to all incoming Erasmus students. - Q: How can I get involved with local student activities?

Accommodation
- Q: What do I have to do to apply for a room in a student residence?
A: In the application form, there is a specific section where you need to indicate whether you wish to be accommodated in a student residence. Simply check the appropriate box to express your interest. - Q: What is the current status of the dormitory?
A: The NSA dormitory is currently undergoing comprehensive renovations. Upon completion, it is anticipated to offer 10 newly renovated double rooms, each equipped with a separate kitchen. Cooking will not be permitted in the rooms themselves; designated kitchen areas will be available for use. For summer term 2025/2026 students will be accommodated in Building 15 and Building 61 in double or triple rooms (suit). There is no shared kitchen available there and cooking is not allowed in the rooms. - Q: What are the dormitory rules regarding roommates and room changes?
A: Room assignments are managed by the NSA administration. Students cannot select or change their roommates independently. All residents must adhere to the dormitory’s rules and regulations, which are provided upon check-in. - Q: What should I bring for my dormitory stay?

A: Monthly rent is 60-70 euros depend on the building 61 or 15 and there is a service fee of 11 euro, paid once per semester. Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit of 200 EUR must be paid via bank transfer upon arrival. The full amount will be refunded within one month after your departure, provided that no damages are identified in the room. - Q: How is the rent calculated if I arrive or leave mid-month?

Transportation

A: You can take a taxi from the official desk for OK Super trans Taxi at Sofia Airport (Terminals 1 and 2) or the Central Bus Station. Estimated fare to NSA Dormitory in Studentski grad is 10-15 euro. Alternatively, you can take Bus 84 to Hotel Pliska stop, then change to Bus 280 and ride to the last stop: National Sports Academy (NSA). - Q: What are the public transport ticket options and prices?

34. I didn’t attend some of the subjects listed in my Learning Agreement. Will I still receive a grade?
No. If you have not participated in a subject you selected and signed for in your Learning Agreement, you cannot receive a grade. It is your responsibility to attend and follow up on all listed subjects.
35. I couldn’t find one of my courses in the timetable. What should I have done?
The timetable is created for your convenience, but not all classes appear there—especially those with only 1–2 students, which are scheduled individually. You are expected to contact the responsible teacher directly if a subject is missing or unclear.
36. What should I do if I already have all marks in my student book?
Please send a scanned copy of your student book (with all marks visible) to the Erasmus office as soon as possible.
37.How do I get my Certificate of Attendance?
You must visit the Erasmus office and personally collect your Certificate of Attendance a day or two before your departure.
38.When and how will I receive my Transcript of Records (ToR)?
